0CP starts building PPA and TMAP factories in Jorf Lasfur
0CP has started constructing a purified phosphoric acid (PPA) and TMAP factory with an annual production capacity of 100000 tons of P205 in Jorf Lasfur.
The preliminary plan start the production in mid-2026.
0CP indicates that the factory expects its phosphoric acid production capacity to reach 200000 tons/year P205, providing 100000 tons/year P205 for PPA production capacity and then 100000 tons/year for TMAP production capacity.
The products of this factory are mainly used as positive electrode materials for food and industrial grade phosphates as well as lithium iron phosphate batteries.
Jorf Lasfar is the first factory in a special phosphate consortium with four factories. The total production capacity of the consortium in 2005 will reach 480000-600000 tons, and 0CP announced its construction plan in August last year.
